Guests at Jauregia I and II can try traditional
food prepared from mostly home-made products. Also, diary products
and desserts, other dishes based on pork and beef, chicken, eggs...
we attach great importance to home-cooked
food.
Breakfast and dinner can be provided if advance notice is given
(breakfast 6 euros and dinner 17 euros). Breakfast is served from
0900 to 1000 and dinner from 2030 to 2200. Lunches and dinners
are not served on public holidays (Sundays included).
In winter we usually prepare typical dishes based on the slaughter
of the pig: morcillas (a type of black sausage), loin and
marinaded chops, chistorra (a type of spicy sausage) and
ham. In summer we prepare dishes with tasty products from
our market garden. In the fruit season
we make jam. Most of the meals are made with raw materials from our caserío (farmhouse).
